Sky Sulamyth was a hippie folkster from Vancouver, British Columbia who recorded this dreamy folk album in 1979. The tracks are: Caribou Flight/ Thirsty Flowers/ In the Forest Angels in Embryo/ Guild F 50 Twilight // Medicine Fire (Hopi Nation)/ Synthesis VS (Trident's Super Sonic Nowhere)/ Words of a Young King Music Box/ The Great Invocation. Sky Sulameth composed, arranged, mixed, engineered, and performed all songs including lyrics, vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, electronic effects, silver flute, brass and tin whistles, percussion and mandolin harp on "Thirsty Flowers" and "Caribou Flight"; except Ron Everett composed, provided vocals, drums, lyrics and engineering on "Music Box". Alice A. Baily provided lyrics, Vancouver Brass Tacks Choir, Sky Sulamyth, Frank Nigel and Susan Kimpan provided vocals on "The Great Invocation". Craig Tomlinson provided rhythm guitar on "Guild F 50 Twilight". Robin Reno provided giggles and harmony la la la's on "Synthesis". Technical assistance by Steffan Bruins and Alan Ames. All songs by World Master Mind Creations, Inc. All songs were recorded at home in Vancouver 1977 except "Medicine Fire" and "Music Box" which were recorded on a wilderness farm in northern Ontario in 1979. "Medicine Fire" was composed in Autumn 1978 in the Canadian Rockies of Jasper and Banff. Songs mixed at Synergetic Media, Hollywood, California, USA. "Synthesis" recorded by Rocket, mixed by Sky at Beverlywood Studio, Hollywood, California, USA. Mastered by Darrell Johnson at the J.V.C. Cutting Lab Hollywood, California, USA on the last visible total solar eclipse of the 20th century in North America. Front and back cover art was by Robin Reno. Cover concept and Design: Sky Sulamyth. Lay Up: Michelle Basche. "The Great Invocation" was chosen as it is being used daily around the world (with special emphasis during full moon periods).
