Black Mass

by Robert Williston 6. February 2010 14:53

This album may be the most evil Canadian recording. It was pressed at Arc Records in Toronto and released on Occultia SOC 7013 circa 1973. The Black Mass is a ceremonial ritual, glorifying the god of darkness, evil, and hate. It is a parody of the Roman Catholic Mass, a sacrilege against the powers of good. The Black Mass is the highest and most holy ritual of satan, the prince of darkness. The Black Mass and similar ceremonies has been in existence since man first conceived the idea of good and evil. The Black Mass is usually performed at 12:00 midnight, at a vacant or abandoned church. The cross is hung inverted on the wall. Six black candles burn on the altar. The Mass is performed over the naked body of a virgin. Any further details are too sick to be described. Side A describes The Black Mass. Side B is an actual ceremony being performed.
