Canadian Talent Library - Compilation

by Kevin McGowan 27. November 2008 13:54

The Canadian Talent Library was a non-profit organization that existed from 1962-1985, producing almost 300 albums by mostly "easy listening" or "middle of the road" styles of music (source: Canadian Encyclopedia). Originally, their albums were only made available to radio stations, but eventually, they started licensing the albums to various Canadian record labels.

I found this CTL Sampler at a book sale by the Canadian Archives, and to my shock, it was still sealed. Another nice example of brand-new-25-year-old-vinyl! Many of these artists are already featured on ICFC, so I decided to give you all a treat and to convert this whole album as one long MP3. Consider this another ICFC podcast! Enjoy.
